"We chose this project because we use hand sanitizer a lot now because of COVID-19 and we wanted to know if it really did kill most of the germs. In conclusion, there is good and bad bacteria and not all of the bacteria was killed by the hand sanitizer. It is important since we use a lot of hand sanitizer to know if it is working or if we shouldn't be using it. "

  1. Your experiment showed that hand sanitizer is better at preventing bacteria growth than doing nothing at all. So, if left to choose between the sanitizer and nothing, it’s a good idea to use the sanitizer. I liked that you ran your experiment for a week, twice a day!
